Indigo House is a historic clapboard building dating to the mid eighteen hundreds, harkening back to a simpler time. Well appointed, Indigo House is your cozy all season retreat located in the village of Wellington, the heart of wine country.
On the main floor you will find a dinning room which seats 6, breakfast sunroom, kitchen, a 2 piece powder room, guest room with double bed and a screened-in porch. The kitchen is fully equipped including a washer/dryer. The essentials such as coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, cutlery, dishes and glassware are provided. This main floor features a livingroom with telephone (for local calls), LCD flatscreen television with DVD and movie library.
Two additional bedrooms with queen beds and a central 4 piece bathroom are located on the 2nd floor.
The sunroom is a great place to have coffee at the breakfast table and the covered screened-in porch is great for a night cap with the lake lapping against the shore in the distance. Everything that you will need during your stay will be waiting for you at your Fabulous Accommodation Destination (F A D) including bed linens, towels (except beach towels), an iron and ironing board, vacuum, ceiling fans in all bedrooms and 2 window air conditioning units. Indigo House is pet and smoke free. The screened in porch may be used by smokers if needed.
Located in the village of Wellington, your Fabulous Accommodation Destination (F A D) offers all of the comforts of home with all the conveniences a stroll away. The village of Wellington is situated on the shores of Lake Ontario, overlooking the largest freshwater dunes in the world at Sandbanks Provincial Park and is located in the heart of Prince Edward County's wine country. Hike, cycle or drive to more than a dozen wineries, such as Sugarbush, Harwood Estates, Karlo Estates, Huff Estates, The Grange of Prince Edward, Hillier Creek, Closson Chase and Norman Hardy to name a few.
Wellington's Main Street, the Loyalist Parkway, is your path to our lakeside park, public beach and boardwalk, boat dock & launch, restaurants, day spa and salon, artist studios, galleries, golf and kayaking. We also have a bank, post office, grocery and convenience store, library, museum, flower shop, pharmacy, hardware store, LCBO and several churches.
Only a 10 minute drive east on The Loyalist Parkway is Bloomfield the shopping destination of Prince Edward County where you will find F A D. Featuring funcktional and fine art, F A D is your one stop shopping for one-of-a-kind locally hand-made pottery, glassware, jewellery, woodwork, metalwork; not to mention sculptures, paintings and home decor. Indigo House guests receive 10% off purchases at F A D.
Indigo House is booked from June 20th until September 20th.
$1,000.00 per week - January 8th to April 2nd
$1,100.00 per week - April 3rd to June 25th
$1,300.00 per week - June 26th to September 11th.
$1,200.00 per week - September 12th to December 18th.
3 night weekend getaway package (Friday night - Monday morning):
$575.00 + applicable taxes - October 15th to December 23rd / April 3rd to June 25th

3 night weekday package (Monday night - Thursday morning / Tuesday night - Friday morning):
$525.00 + applicable taxes - October 15th to December 23rd / January 8th to June 25th

Christmas and New Years Eve escape packages:

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking. If damages to the property or any of the properties contents occurs during your stay, repair/replacement costs may be charged to your credit card.
