I know I talk about After Stonewall a lot, but if you haven't been, you should drop by (370 Bank Street - between James and Gilmour streets) and check out the 60 artists featured. My in-laws have a tradition of just saying a store they like for Christmas, and I've picked this place two years running. Asked me about my bracelet? This is where I got it. - Nathan Smith

Three businesses in one location!
Home to pottery, glassware, woodwork, pewter, fine art and sculpture for your home; jewelery, silk and leather products for both men and women ... all hand crafted by over 60 Ontario and Quebec artists. We believe that a handcrafted art piece serves a useful purpose in everyday life; that it is produced in a way that is environmentally friendly and not harmful to our health; and that artisans should receive fair compensation for their creativity and work. Functional art is the blending of form, function, sculpture and fine art. All of these disciplines are called upon to create original objects we can enjoy that are as functional as they are beautiful. Fad: Funktional Art and Design which was located in Bloomfield, Ontario (Prince Edward County) for 10 years is now part of After Stonewall, creating a new Art for Everyday Living shopping experience. Ottawa's very own year round one of a kind gallery.
Home to GLBT literature since 1980. Thousands of titles are showcased in a library setting.
